Introduction To Devising Theatre For HSC Group Performance
12 February 2024 - 15 February 2024
One week of intensive workshops devised as a structured introduction to the devising process for HSC group performance.
Students will cover four key areas:
• Operating as an ensemble
• Celebrating your skill set and embracing improvisation
• Making meaning using the elements of drama
• Forming a structure (using the “big six” as a basic structure)
The workshop will end with a miniature group devising activityusing exercises from the day, followed by a showing,
discussion, and question time.
